Trey - 2 months

Today Trey is 2 months old!  He has changed a lot this month in his looks and interaction with us.  Some stats are:

12 lbs 13 oz

He's been in 3 month clothes for a couple weeks, and he has outgrown all of his newborn hats.  He has lots of awesome rolls on his legs, arms and neck, which means that I have to be extra careful to clean in the cracks!

He's moved into size 2 diapers.

He has begun cooing a lot and likes to talk to us and the toys that hang over his head.  We think that he has laughed a couple times.  Just in the past couple days he has started wanting to be held or payed attention to, and he has a special "fake" cry when he wants us.

Gia is a fantastic big sister.  Seriously, never any signs of jealousy, she just plays on her own when I'm busy with him or comes over to play along with us.  He gives her smiles and looks at her when she comes close to him.

He nurses 7-8 times a day, and he gets particularly hungry at night.  He has gone a couple of 8 hours nights, but mostly it's about a 6 hour stretch followed by another 4 hour stretch.

Seeing as it is 12:50am as I'm writing this post, we are still working on getting him to bed at a reasonable time.  It may kill me.  Or prevent us from ever getting pregnant again.  But I figure he'll eventually figure it out, and until then, I'm not making any plans for the mornings.  Bobby has been great about letting me go to bed and staying up with Trey when he can, but I'm still worn out and trying to have enough energy for Trey at night and Gia in the morning.

My days of going out of the house are gone since my parents have left.  Trey eats a lot and I just can't bring myself to go anywhere on my own with both kids... I can't hold Gia's hand in a parking lot while also carrying Trey in the carseat.  I feel secluded because of this, but I know it's only temporary.  So, for now, I'm just enjoying being with my kids in the house and making memories with Gia by playing with her new kitchen and making pancakes.

Trey is SO sweet.  He is a fantastic baby as long as he is full.  He hardly ever fusses, and is easily appeased.  He's just laid back and easy-going, and we are in love with him.

He's going to be my cuddler.  He loves to be held by Mama, especially over my shoulder so he can lay his head on me.  So. Sweet.

Trey, you are an awesome, chubby baby boy!  We love your personality and interacting with you.  You look like your daddy, but you have my eyes :o)  You are so very loved, little man, and we are enjoying watching you grow.
